Recent reports from mid-2025 indicate that Speedhunters has ceased new content publication and faces an uncertain future due to EA's shifting priorities, with some former contributors establishing a new platform called Turnpike. Despite these reports, the official website and some social media channels remained accessible and displayed content up to early 2025.
