Privacy Policy

This page explains the data flows of UsernameLink. To ask about a result or request a correction or privacy review, contact [email protected].
Searched usernames and public results
We receive the handle you submit and use it to search for public profile candidates. Searches and their generated results are stored in a database to serve cached responses. A result can include profile links, a generated summary, suggested related handles, and other information drawn from public search evidence. Search records can be displayed on public result pages, recent-search lists, and browsing directories. Searches are not private or confidential.
The service also stores search counts, processing status, timestamps, and AI response data for troubleshooting. Cache freshness does not determine deletion: a stored record may remain after it is no longer fresh. We do not currently promise a fixed automatic deletion period. Do not enter passwords, email credentials, private identifiers, or information you do not want processed as a public username search.
AI processing and accuracy
The searched username and relevant search evidence are sent to Google's AI services to retrieve and format candidate results. Their processing is subject to Google's applicable privacy practices. Generated output can be incomplete, outdated, or wrong, including associating a handle with an unrelated account. Contact us to flag an error; do not treat generated information as identity verification.
Hosting and request data
Requests pass through our hosting infrastructure and Cloudflare. These services process connection information such as an IP address, requested URL, browser details, and request time to deliver and protect the website. Server and service logs may be used to investigate errors and abuse. We do not require a UsernameLink account to search.
Advertising and cookies
We use Google AdSense for advertising on eligible editorial pages. When ads are available, Google and other advertising providers may place or read cookies, use web beacons, and process IP addresses or other identifiers for ad delivery, measurement, personalization where permitted, and fraud prevention. Automatically generated profile result pages and loading screens do not include our advertising placements.
Where a consent message is presented, use its choices to accept, refuse, or manage purposes and partners. The Privacy and cookie settings link in the footer requests Google's consent settings again where the message is available. You can also manage cookies in your browser and adjust Google's advertising preferences. Refusing personalized advertising does not require payment or an account to use the search tool.
Analytics
Google Analytics helps us understand aggregate site usage, such as visited pages, device categories, and engagement. Analytics collection follows the site's consent configuration. When using consent mode with denied defaults, Google may receive limited cookieless measurement signals before consent; denying cookies does not necessarily stop every network request. We do not use a session-replay service in the current site configuration.
Contact and linked sites
If you email us, your address, message, and supplied links are used to address that request. Send only what is needed to explain the issue. Linked social platforms operate independently and have their own privacy policies; changing a cached UsernameLink result does not delete information from those platforms.
For a correction, privacy concern, or removal review, see Contact and corrections. Please include the affected page URL and the change you are requesting without sending identification documents or account credentials.
