Sotiris Kontizas is a renowned Greek-Japanese chef and television personality, widely known as a judge on MasterChef Greece since Season 3. He studied Economic and Regional Development before transitioning to a culinary career. Kontizas established the acclaimed Athens restaurant, Nolan, in 2016, which is celebrated for its fusion of Greek and Japanese culinary traditions and has received the Michelin Guide's "Bib Gourmand" award. He also opened Proveleggios and Sweet Nolan. In September 2024, he announced his departure from Nolan, Proveleggios, and Sweet Nolan. Subsequently, he opened a street-food ramen restaurant named Tanpopo. He is married and has three children.
