Laura Takala is a Finnish singer, guitarist, and musician based in Glasgow, Scotland, known for fronting the electro-rock band Lo Rays. She writes and produces music for Lo Rays, which blends glitchy synths, heavy guitar riffs, and pop hooks, often accompanied by post-apocalyptic visuals. A music graduate from the University of the West of Scotland, Takala and Lo Rays have received airplay on BBC Radio Scotland and BBC Radio 1.
