Born in Germany in 1981, Aykut Ertuğrul is a Turkish writer, editor, and program producer. He transitioned from military service to a career in arts and culture, serving as editor-in-chief for literary magazines "Yumuşak Ge" and "Post Öykü," and as a culture and arts editor for "Gerçek Hayat" magazine. He is currently the general art director at Zeytinburnu Cultural Center in Istanbul and has received awards for his short stories, including the Ömer Seyfettin Story Award (2011) and the Turkey Writers' Union Best Story Book Award (2013).
