Alicia Elsbeth Stallings, who publishes as A. E. Stallings, is an American poet, translator, and essayist. She serves as the Oxford Professor of Poetry and is known for her work that combines classical allusions and traditional forms to explore contemporary themes. A MacArthur Fellow and Guggenheim Fellow, she resides in Athens, Greece, and has authored several poetry collections and translations of Greek and Latin literature.
