Aan Anshori is an Indonesian activist, born on June 8, 1976, in Jombang, East Java. He is a prominent figure in the GUSDURian movement and serves as the Coordinator of Jaringan Islam Antidiskriminasi (JIAD - Network of Anti-Discrimination Islam). His advocacy focuses on human rights, religious freedom, and the rights of marginalized communities, including LGBTQI individuals, and he is noted for his support of same-sex marriage. He holds degrees in Informatics Management, Law, and Islamic Family Law, and has worked as a lecturer at universities such as Universitas Ciputra, and is an author of several books, some focusing on interfaith relations and historical events.
